The X Subscription is one plan that covers Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium. SpaceXSI announced it on October 12, 2026. It offers five tiers: Free, Plus at $8 a month, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200. As of October 13, 2026, new customers could sign up on the company’s pricing page, and SpaceXSI says it will roll the plan out to everyone globally over the next few days.
The pitch is consolidation. Grok and Cursor, once separate subscriptions, now draw from one pool of included AI usage. The X checkmark, creator tools and reduced ads ride along on the paid tiers.
The tiers and what they cost
Free includes daily access to Grok and a starter allowance for Cursor’s coding agents. It keeps standard X posting, replying and following. Plus adds a shared usage pool, the Grok API and Cursor access, plus the Grok tools Chat, Voice, Imagine and Build. On X, Plus brings a Premium checkmark, fewer timeline ads, enhanced creator tools and Advanced Analytics.
x.ai calls Premium its most popular plan. It provides 4x the Plus usage and adds Grok Bot, the latest Grok models, faster chat responses and AI image and video generation. It also includes code hosting, AI code reviews, cloud agents and automations, ad-free scrolling on most X surfaces and a preferred @handle. In its pricing table, x.ai says Premium covers “the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+, previously $90/month combined.”
Super raises the pool to 15x the Plus usage at $100 a month. It adds priority model access at peak times. Ultra costs $200 a month, carries 50x the Plus usage and gives earliest access to all products and models.
Today we’re introducing The X Subscription, which brings together Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor, and X Premium in one plan.
SpaceXSI announcement, x.ai
One usage pool, refreshed weekly
Paid plans include one pool of Grok model usage shared across Grok and Cursor, according to x.ai. The same allowance covers the Grok apps, the Grok tab on X and Cursor. x.ai says each comparable new tier includes at least twice the coding usage with its own models of the comparable standalone Cursor plan. The allowance refreshes weekly, so one heavy day does not wipe out a whole month. x.ai recommends Premium for new AI users, Super for daily agent users and Ultra for power users.
Third-party models such as Claude or GPT remain available in Cursor on the Premium tier and above, but they sit outside the included pool. x.ai bills that usage separately at API list prices, and buyers pay through top-ups. x.ai also offers spending caps. The published multiples (4x, 15x and 50x) are relative to Plus, and the announcement does not state what Plus means as an absolute allowance.
x.ai lists its prices before applicable taxes or fees and says they can change. Subscribers can cancel anytime, at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid another charge. The company also warns that it sells subscriptions only through its own site and may suspend accounts bought from resellers.
Teams, enterprises and existing subscribers
Team plans bring Premium, Super and Ultra to organizations at the same per-seat prices as individual plans. x.ai says the new team seats cost less per seat than the older Cursor Teams plans and include 3x more coding usage. They also add SSO, admin controls, consolidated billing, usage analytics and SOC 2 compliance. The pricing page lists Teams from $30 per user per month and custom Enterprise plans.
Enterprise customers can manage Grok and Cursor from one dashboard with a single usage pool.
Nothing changes on day one for current Cursor, SuperGrok or X Premium subscribers. Their plan, price and features continue, but SpaceXSI no longer sells those standalone plans to new customers. A switch option is rolling out in account billing settings. It comes with limited-time offers and a prorated refund for the old plan. A current Cursor plan keeps its included third-party usage until the subscriber switches. x.ai expects most customers to upgrade on their own and says any remaining customers will eventually move. The company promises advance notice but has not set a timeline.
For buyers already paying for three products, the $30 Premium tier is the clearest saving on paper. For anyone who depends on rival models inside Cursor, the new top-up pricing is the number to watch before switching. The announcement does not publish absolute usage figures or App Store prices, so those details remain open.
